Psychotherapy

I offer individual, family, and marital/couples therapy. I have extensive experience in working with a variety of clinical issues from common adjustment problems (work or academic stress, job change, etc) to issues that may affect a person's overall sense of well-being (depression, anxiety, marital conflict). In addition, I have experience in helping families and individuals recover from significant traumatic events such as death of a spouse or sexual assault. I have experience working with all populations including adolescents, children, and adults.

Life Enhancement

In addition to psychotherapy, I offer what I refer to as life enhancement services. It is common for people in therapy to resolve their presenting issues but still feel that they may not be reaching their full potential to excel in life. Success with regard to life enhancement services is defined by the client and may range from becoming more spiritual to achieving excellence in a new career path. This approach is somewhat different from coaching in that it relies primarily on the client to define success. I will assist you as you clarify what success means for you. I will then work with you to achieve your life enhancement goal. To achieve this outcome, we will work together to identify and remove blocks that prevent you from attaining a more rewarding life experience.

Clinical Supervision

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia, I am able to provide clinical supervision for Master's level clinicians who are seeking supervision hours toward licensure requirements. I have several years of experience in supervising a variety of clinical cases. I prefer a collaborative approach to clinical supervision in which supervisees have an active role. I find that supervision is most effective when I offer points of consideration or alternative vantage points from which a case might be viewed. I am available for individual and group supervision. Workshops and Trainings

I am available to provide a variety of workshops and trainings for organizations, including schools, businesses, churches, etc. These workshops include anger and stress management, team-building, marital workshops and many others.
